HAIL King Pasuwa!
Celebrated Zimbabwean football gaffer Kalisto Pasuwa has been named Coach of The Year in Malawi after guiding Nyasa Big Bullets to their fourth consecutive league title.
Bullets achieved the league triumph in the TNM Malawian Super League with 73 points, 10 ahead of runners-up Blue Eagles.
Pasuwa’s men set a new high score of points to win the championship, beating the 71-point tally achieved in the 2018 season.
The Blantyre-based team also netted the highest number of goals, 69, and conceded only 21 to finish top of the table with a 48-goal difference.
The awards ceremony that saw Pasuwa and his Blantyre-based club being honoured was held on Wednesday.
In that regard, Pasuwa, a former Dynamos and Warriors creative midfielder has equaled his local personal record that saw him clinch the league title four times on the trot when he was in charge at DeMbare.
This means he has won the league title in eight consecutive seasons he has been a coach at a club.
