FORMER Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions, Chicken Inn, have vowed that they will get the better of city rivals Bulawayo Chiefs when the two teams clash in a Week Five encounter scheduled for Sunday at Luveve Stadium.

Gamecocks, who are yet to concede in four matches, are coming from a nil all derby draw against Bulawayo football giants Highlanders.

On the other hand, Chiefs who are yet to post a win, are smarting from a 2-1 Easter Saturday defeat at the hands of defending league champions FC Platinum.

โ€œThe boys have been training well. It is all pointing in the right direction and I believe we will get it right against Bulawayo Chiefs. Everyone, except for Calum English Brown, who is still nursing an ankle injury, is ready to go.

Impressive Premier Soccer League returnees Hwange will travel to the capital for a date against newbies Simba Bhora that is also pencilled for National Sports Stadium on Friday.

On Saturday, struggling newboys GreenFuel will face Sheasham at Zvishavaneโ€™s Mandava Stadium while Herentals do duty against Ngezi Platinum Stars at Gibbo Stadium.

Gibbo Stadium will also be the venue for the game between Thulani โ€œThutsโ€ Sibanda-coached Triangle and army side Black Rhinos.

Meanwhile, the long-awaited league match pitting Highlanders and Dynamos which was slated for Saturday at Barbourfields Stadium has been postponed.

The two giants of Zimbabwean football were set to clash twice in a space of three days.

First, Bosso and DeMbare were meant to meet in a PSL fixture on Saturday before the epic Independence Cup final clash in Mount Darwin on Tuesday.

In a statement on Wednesday afternoon, the PSL indicated that the match would not take place on Saturday after the Sports and Recreation Commission (SRC) directed that the two clubs be in Mount Darwin on Sunday for the commencement of Independence Day festivities.

Bosso and DeMbare meet in the Independence Cup final at Mount Darwin High School on Tuesday where the blue and white army will be seeking revenge after losing last yearโ€™s final to the black and white camp 1-0 at Emagumeni.
