Zimbabwe retains 14 slots on the Fifa Panel

ZIMBABWE match officials may have been omitted from the list of 65 to take charge at the forthcoming 2025 Total Energies Chan finals.

In a list released by Caf recently, it is the second consecutive year since the lifting of the Fifa imposed ban, that the country will be represented by 14 referees and assistant referees on Fifa Panel of Match Officials for 2025.

Zimbabwe retained 14 slots on the panel with Tichaona Mbire, who had joined the panel last year the major omission and Bulawayo’s Owen Manenda the notable new addition.

Castle Lager Premier Soccer League reigning Referee of the Year, Brighton Chimene headlines the list.
