Remains of a man found in Bindura with head, private parts missing

Police in Bindura have recovered the remains of a 27-year-old man whose head and private organs are missing.
The remains were found in a decomposing state.
Garikayi Junior Kamwendo’s body was dumped in a bushy area.
National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi said, “The ZRP is investigating circumstances surrounding a murder case in which the body of Garikayi Junior Kamwendo was found in a bushy area between Brockdale and Woodbrooke Suburbs, Bindura, on January 13, 2025.
“The body was found in an advanced state of decomposition with the head and genitals missing. The body was taken to Bindura Hospital mortuary for post-mortem.
“Anyone with information that might assist with investigations should contact the nearest police station,” he said.
