A WOMAN claims her ex-boyfriend is demanding all the money he spent on her while they were still dating.
Tendai Tawadzana told the Harare Civil Court that she needed a protection order against her ex-boyfriend Takudzwa Shumba.
Magistrate Meenal Naratom granted the protection order.
Tawadzana testified that Shumba was threatening her all the time.
“He gave me the money when we were dating.
“I cannot pay him back because he also had sexual intercourse with me and it will be equal.”
She claimed the money was an allowance for being his girlfrield and, after all, she did not ask for it.
“He is now threatening my mother and also insulting my parents, last week he came to my parents’ house and broke the windows.”
Takudzwa did not deny the allegations.
“This case will go far, l have reported the matter to the police.
“She is owing me since we are no longer dating, l need my money back.
“All l want is my money, nothing else, if she does not give me my money it will end in tears.”
Magistrate Meenal advised Takudzwa to use the appropriate court to recover his money.
