20-year-old in jail for attempted murder

A Karoi man, Tafadzwa Ngozi (20) was sentenced to an effective two years in jail by a Karoi magistrate for assaulting his neighbour who had confronted him and his accomplice for cutting down trees on his farm.


Ngozi and Obvious Dzinoreva who is still at large struck the complainant with an axe on the left hand and a shovel on the head on March 3 this year.

The two fled the scene.

Ngozi was apprehended later.
