After taking Zimbabwe and Southern Africa by storm courtesy of his hit song Uhambo, internet sensation Andrea The Vocalist will go down in history as the youngest artiste to perform at the main stage of the Victoria Falls Carnival.

The lucrative gig is the second for the child-star to perform in his home city.

The 11th edition of the Carnival is slated to run from 28 to 30 April in Victoria Falls (Elephant Hills Resort), with some events set to be held in Livingstone, Zambia (Radisson Blu Mosi-Oa-Tunya.)

Thirteen events are lined up across nine locations and this touts this yearโ€™s extravaganza as the biggest edition of the Carnival.

Andrea The Vocalist will share the stage with some of African music giants including globetrotting South African DJ Black Coffee, Mac G and Sol Phenduka, Mafikizolo, Black Motion, Mi Casa, Oskido, Botswanaโ€™s Han-C, Mokoomba, Enzo Ishall, DJ Liz, DJ Rimo, Anita Jaxson, Jah Prayzah, DJ Nitefreak, among some of the top creatives.

The gig will strengthen the young award-winning sensationโ€™s profile, as said by his road manager Tokyo Nkanyiso Moyo.

โ€œThis is the second time for Andrea to perform in Victoria Falls and he is excited. Performing at the Carnival will ensure his profile grows and this will open many doors and opportunities for him.

โ€œThis is also a great chance for him to perform some of his upcoming songs and the new releaseย  Amanxeba. He is definitely going to put up his best performance because big opportunities like this only come once in a lifetime,โ€ said Moyo.

Andrea doesnโ€™t take the upcoming gig lightly. He is busy rehearsing and polishing his craft so as to display a historic performance.

โ€œAndrea looks up to most of the artistes who have been in the industry for a long time and some of them like Oskido are also featuring on the Carnival. He is busy with rehearsals because he understands how big this event is.

โ€œWhen we rehearse, we make sure we prepare him mentally for the big stage and as noticed, each performance of his is an improvement from the last one, hence definitely, fire is expected once he gets on stage at the carnival,โ€ said Moyo.
