Renowned producer Mdusevan, real name Mduduzi Ngoma, is dedicated to producing quality music at the same time helping up and coming Bulawayo artistes by affording them studio time for production and grooming them to realise their dreams.
In order to achieve such a goal, the multi-award-winning producer is extending a begging bowl to different corporations and individuals who can assist him in setting up a modern studio.
Mdusevan said he was discouraged from seeking assistance, as some (in the local arts scene) suggested it was embarrassing for artistes to ask for help.
However, he said he was reaching out because he requires specific equipment to enhance his career and support underprivileged young talents in launching their careers, something that he has done previously.
He said well-wishers can hand over any kind of donations as they will go far in helping him realise the dream.
“I am a multi-award winning and nominated DJ, producer, engineer and songwriter from Bulawayo. As a passionate and dedicated music professional, I am reaching out to explore potential sponsorship opportunities that will enable me to upgrade my music production studio.
“Specifically, I am seeking support to acquire essential studio equipment, including high-quality studio monitors, an audio interface, microphones, a MIDI keyboard and a drum pad. These tools will not only enhance the quality of music production but it will also increase my creative output and capacity to collaborate with other artistes.
“I believe that with the right support and resources, I can continue to make meaningful contributions to the music industry and inspire a new generation of artistes. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss this proposal further and explore how we can work together to achieve our goals,” said Mdusevan.
The multi-talented producer has worked with a number of established local artistes including Qeqeshiwe “Qeqe” Mtambo, Novuyo Seagirl, Kinah the Music, Rue Zim, Ronald Stone, Swizzy Anderson, among others.
