ALL is set for the Harare Province Division Two A and B finals playoffs pitting Ali Sundowns and Bakers Inn at Harare Polytech Grounds this afternoon.

The two sides were crowned champions in their regions and will battle it out for the sole ticket to the ZIFA Northern Region Division One Soccer League.

Ali Sundowns, whose proprietor Desmond โ€œDizolaโ€ Ali is eyeing a ZIFA executive post, believes he can now take his side to the promised land after he formed the club two decades ago.

โ€œWe are ready for the challenge despite that I am not happy to be going through the play-offs knowing pretty well that we are the champions. I think those are some of the things we need to be addressed when we go into office.

โ€œWe finished the season strongly with 105 points losing only once to FC Viego. During the off-season we played CAPS United, Simba Bhora and Banket United, among others, so we are prepared.

โ€œOur boys really put a shift during the season and we have trust in them that they will be able to do the job for us against Baker Inn,โ€ said Ali.

ZIFA Harare Province chairman Robert Tembo believes both teams are ready to make an impact in division one football.

โ€œWe are happy that we have a team joining ZIFA Northern Region and I hope they are going to do well and compete at the highest level.

โ€œWe have a competitive League and I am sure the team will do us proud and survive relegation first season.

โ€œTeams that have qualified from our leagues have fared well in Division 1 and we wish the best for those that are going to be promoted,โ€ said Tembo.
