TWO men turned Boxing Day into a day of real physical battles as they stabbed a man to death after a fallout during a drinking spree in Waterfalls.

Two men โ€” Luckmore Bamu, 35, and Jonathan Dereck Gwature, appeared in court yesterday facing murder charges.

The duo is accused of allegedly stabbing and killing the man they had a row with.

They allegedly stabbed him with an unidentified sharp object twice.

The deceased sustained deep cuts and some of his intestines were left protruding from the stab wounds.

The duo went on to steal the deceasedโ€™s cell phone, a Samsung Galaxy C7, before they went away.

On Tuesday, Detectives from CID Homicide received information that one, Norman Mashonga, was using the deceasedโ€™s cell phone.  A follow-up was made leading to the arrest of Mashonga and the recovery of the cellphone.

Mashonga indicated that he bought the cell phone from the duo on December 28, leading to their arrest.

Rufaro Chonzi prosecuted.
