FOR hip-hop artist Shone, this is the stuff that dreams are made of.
The Zimbabwean star’s performance as part of the supporting acts of British rock band Coldplay at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday night is being praised for the way he connected with the massive crowd.
Eighty thousand fans paid their way into the stadium for the first of four Coldplay shows in India this month.
It’s part of the British rock group’s Music of the Spheres World tour.
The second show was set for the same stadium last night.
Shone took his career to another level on Saturday night with a polished performance that is being praised by music commentators.
“Their (Coldplay) performance was preceded by the likes of Shone and Elyanna, who gave impressive showcases,” wrote journalist Ayushi Agrawal for PinkVilla.
Shone said this was a chance for him to share his culture with the crowd and is on tour with his DJ Tatenda LXA.
