YADAH Stars coach Thomas Ruzive has backed Junior Zindoga to make a significant impact in the South African Premiership after the forward’s recent move to Marumo Gallants.
Ruzive, who worked with Zindoga during his time at the Miracle Boys, believes the 25-year-old has the experience, determination and skill to excel in the South African top-flight league.
“Junior is a very experienced player and he’s determined. He’s also a disciplined player, so I think he’s going to make a mark in the PSL,” Ruzive said.
“I think it’s a good move for him and it’s a good signing for Marumo Gallants.
“Junior is skillful and he’s willing to work, which will undoubtedly benefit the team.”
Zindoga joins fellow Zimbabweans − Washington Arubi and Daniel Msendami − at Marumo Gallants.
The forward played for Maritzburg United in the Multichoice Diski Challenge and Nsingizini Hotspurs in the Swazi MTN Soccer League.
Marumo Gallants announced Zindoga’s signing in a statement.
“Marumo Gallants FC is thrilled to announce the latest additions to our talented squad, including the signing of striker Junior Zindoga,” the statement read.
“Zindoga made a name for himself playing for Maritzburg United in the Multichoice Diski Challenge. He also left his footprint in the Zimbabwean Premier Soccer League with Yadah Stars and most recently displayed his skill set in Swaziland playing for Nsingizini Hotspurs in the Swazi MTN Soccer League.
“The team welcomes Zindoga, whose impressive skills on the field will undoubtedly be an asset to the Gallants family.”
