SIMBA Bhora have revealed they have a contingency plan in place in the event of a mass exodus of players and possibly even the departure of head coach Tonderai Ndiraya.
Reports have claimed Ndiraya is set to join Scottland FC where, as part of his package, he will get a car and a house.
He will also be joined by his former assistant at Dynamos, Naison Muchekela, according to the reports.
Walter Musona, Mthokozisi Msebe, Tichaona Chipunza and Vassilli Kawe are also said to be on the move to ambitious Scottland.
Ironically, the owners of Scottland and Simba Bhora, Scott Sakupwanya and Simba Ndoro, are close friends and business contacts.
Scottland have also been linked with Khama Billiat, Peter Muduhwa and Lynoth Chikuhwa.
Their agents are also in West Africa looking for talented players with the Scottland leadership insisting they are in the league to make a huge statement.
However, Simba Bhora spokesman, Charles Nyatsime, said there is nothing official that has been concluded but they have fallback positions in the worst case scenario.
“There is no official position yet even though, as a club, we will not stand in the way of anyone who wishes to pursue their future elsewhere.
“If we have players who want to leave, we will let them go.
“Even if the coach leaves, it means we will have to bring in a new coach and the players that he wants to play in the team,” said Nyatsime.
Nyatsime said their dream of making records goes beyond the local scene.
“We are definitely going to participate (in the CAF Champions League) and hopefully make history in the same way we did in the local Premiership.
“For us, the dream continues and we want to make history.”
In only their second top-flight season, Simba Bhora clinched the title with two games to spare, earning the right to represent Zimbabwe in the Champions League.
Simba Bhora became the first team from Mashonaland Central to win the Premier Soccer League title.
They joined St Paul’s Musami, Ngezi Platinum and FC Platinum as the only teams outside Harare and Bulawayo to have won the country’s league title.
