Champions Simba Bhora have provided five players on the Soccer Stars calendar following the selection done this morning.
Influential forwards Walter Musona and Tymon Machope along with defenders Webster Tafa, Isheanesu Mauchi and Blessing Moyo all made the cut.
Despite finishing well outside the top four, CAPS United have two players on the roster with only Dynamos, Yadah and Chicken Inn the other teams represented.
Makepekepe defender Godknows Murwira and Kingsley Mureremba made sure the Green Machine got their reward after an exciting season despite failing to finish strongly.
Dynamos’ Emmanuel Jalai, Yadah star Khama Billiat and Chicken Inn ‘keeper Donovan Bernard are the other players on the list.

Cartels, agents hijack Soccer Stars’ selection?
Simba Bhora have made history by becoming the first team to provide five players on the soccer stars calendar.
They won the championship with two games to spare in only their second season in the Premiership.
They mostly used a 3-5-3 formation and all the three regular defenders Webster Tafa, Isheanesu Mauchi and Blessing Moyo have found their names on the creme de la creme of the league.
But is that justified by any way besides the fact that they played for a team that won the league?
Simba Bhora did not have the best defence in the league.
It is ZPC Kariba who smashed that defensive record after pasting 22 clean sheets on the board.
Surprisingly the mainstays from that team’s defence Boid Mutukure and Nyasha Gurende were not considered by the selectors.
Even more surprising is the inclusion of CAPS United defender Godknows Murwira whose team’s defence was the third worst in the league with the team finishing in position 8.
It even boggles the mind how the selectors decided to ignore players from FC Platinum, Ngezi Platinum,
Manica Diamonds and Herentals who finished 2nd,3rd,4th and 5th in the league.
Soccer Star selection has never been this controversial. Never since 1997 maybe when the sponsors ended up pulling out.

Chikuhwa in ninth heaven
This must be Highlanders striker Lynoth Chikuhwa’s biggest day.
Just hours after he was elected as part of the 2024 Soccer Stars of the Year, Chikuhwa who has also won the Golden Boot prize has been honoured with the November Player if the Year award.
Chikuhwa scored 17 goals for Bosso and he is in line to win the Soccer Star of the Year accolade as well.
But he will only be in a position to know if he is the one on December 6 during the banquet where the Goalkeeper, Coach and Rookie of the Year will be announced.
