UMnumzana Mike Nemashakwe onguLivestock Officer koBulawayo ukhuthaze abalimi abafuyileyo ukuthi bagcine kuhle inkomo ze-commercial beef ngoba zilemali enhle. 

Uthe into eqakatheke kakhulu ekugcineni inkomo yindlela oziphatha ngayo.

“Sikhuthaza abalimi ukuthi begcine kuhle inkomo zabo njalo bezihlalise endaweni ehlanzekileyo. Inkomo lezi sikhuthaza abalimi ukuba bazidibhise kanye ngeviki ngesikhathi sokutshisa kuthi ngesikhathi sezulu bazidibhise kabili ukuze bebulale imikhaza ngoba yiyo ebangela lemikhuhlane,” kutsho uMnu Nemashakwe.

Uqhubekele phambili wathi inkomo zohlobo lwe-commercial beef zilemihlobo etshiyeneyo.

“Inkomo ze-commercial beef zilemihlobo etshiyeneyo egoqela ama-brahman kanye lama Hereford,” kutsho uMnu Nemashakwe.

Uthe inkunzi zidla kakhulu njalo ukhuthaza abalimi ukuthi belimele inkomo zabo ukudla.

“Inkunzi zidla ukudla okungaba yi 5 kusiya ku-6kg ngelanga kusiya ngokuthi yiwuphi umhlobo, njalo inkomokazi zidla ukudla okungaba yi 3 kusiya ku-4kg ngakho sikhuthaza  abalimi ukuthi balime ama-fodder crops ukuze zithole ukudla.”

 Uthe abalimi bengazitshayela imali ngokuthengisa inkunzi zabo.

“Sikhuthaza abalimi ukuthi bengaba lenkunzi ezinengi bethengise besale lezinlutshane,” kuphetha uMnu Nemashakwe.
